**Welcome to the 8th Annual SBSD Mud Run**
Race Date & Time:
Saturday, May 19, 2012. Starting Time is 9 AM for the 5K Run & 12 PM for the Youth 1K Run. This event will begin rain or shine.
Purpose:
The purpose of the 2012 SBSD Mud Run is to bring together members of the community with Southern California public safety for a fun day in the mud and sun. Proceeds raised during the event go to local charities throughout the Inland Empire.
The 2012 SBSD Mud Run involves several obstacles, low-crawls, mud-pits, hills, our infamous whoop-de-doos and an especially thick mud made of sand, dirt and water. It is set in a boot camp styled atmosphere where a combination of citizens, law enforcement, fire department, companies, teams, colleges and military personnel compete together. Individual runners can enter the event or groups of 5 can enter as a team to promote camaraderie.
Friendly reminder: There will not be a bag or item check-in at the event. You will be responsible for the care of your personal items.
Mud Run Shoe Recycling: Please donate your muddied shoes at the end of the race. The recycling of the muddied shoes will benefit the Victorville Valley Sheriff's Station Explorer Scouts program.
***FREE PARKING and NO FEE for spectators******
