The SBSD Mud Run contributes it's proceeds to local charities throughout the Inland Empire. The following are benefactors for this year's race:
Sheriff's Employee Assistance Team (S.E.A.T.): The Sheriff's Assistance Team provides assistance and support to Sheriff's Department members in critical situations from the time they are hired through retirement. Employees, volunteers, retirees, and their families are assisted during major illness or accidents, living condition emergencies, and funeral arrangements.
San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services: The San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services is dedicated to providing free services to survivors of violent crimes and their families. They are committed to increasing awareness in our communities through community education and prevention.
Challenged Athletes Foundation: The Challenged Athletes Foundation was established in 1997. The organization recognizes the athletic greatness inherent in all people with physical challenges and supports their athletic endeavors by providing unparalleled opportunities that lead to success in sports - and in life.
Option House Crisis and Prevention Services: The Option House provide 24-hour crisis intervention, shelter, transitional housing, outreach services, legal services, information, education and awareness to family violence victims.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's Gift of Love Program: The program provides gift wrapped toys to needy children during Christmas time.
