The following comments were obtained from the 2011 SBSD Mud Run. See what other people thought of our race: Move over Camp Pendleton! SBSD you have outdone yourselves. I have done all of your Mud Runs and 2011 was definitely the best - including fireworks, smoke, bombs and quicksand mud pit that threatened to swallow us all... _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ My daugther and I ran the SBSD Mud Run on Saturday, June 11, and had a blast! Congrats for a sucessful event. --Peter Once again you should be very proud of yourselves for putting together the toughest mud run course in All OF SCAL. I have ran in all of them many times and this was the forth year in a row at SBSD run. Every year you step it up a bit more and this course llike every year is by far the toughest of them all hands down and that includes the famous Camp Pendleton run. Breaking it all down this year this is what I saw - Great ASS kicking course, awesome start up, very well organized, nice to see more showers, changing tents, much much better awards with a ceremony. Awesome - a lot of fun and can't wait til next one. AWESOME!! is the only word to describe it. This was my first one and now I'm hooked. The last pits were definitely challenging. Some where in the next to the last pit I lost my shoe. Thank you SBSD and Operating Engineers for making this whole event so much fun. See you next year!!!

Thank you for putting this race together! It was a challenge and your team did an exceptional job putting the obstacles together and the complete production from start to finish! I noticed several people with professional cameras during the race. Can the photos be viewed somewhere? Thanks again!
